The swampUP 2022 City Tour Scholarship Program Diversity Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must be from a traditionally underrepresented and/or marginalized group in the technology and/or open source communities who are unable to attend without some financial assistance. Individuals who apply should be active members of the open source community who are unable to attend for financial reasons and are unable to receive funding from their companies.
The diversity scholarship recipients will receive a complimentary registration pass to a one-day event in the swampUP 2022 City Tour, which includes the training course. The scholarship does not include travel to the event. Funding for these scholarships was made possible by diversity sponsorships from the CD Foundation and the Cloud Native Computing Foundation.
The diversity scholarships are awarded based on a combination of need and impact. Selection will be made by JFrog who will assess each applicant’s request. Application information will be kept confidential. Up to ten (10) diversity scholarships will be awarded for the swampUP 2022 City Tour for each location of the event.
swampUp 2022 City Tour is an in-person event. The in-person, one-day events will take place in New York City, London and Munich, October 18, 20, 24th respectively.
Receipt of a scholarship does not, on its own, guarantee entry to the event. Recipients need to adhere to the swampUP 2022 COVID-19 rules and regulations. As we continue to monitor COVID-19, our attendees’ health and safety remain our top priority. We will be following the latest local guidelines. If the recipient does not meet COVID-19 requirements for the event, the scholarship is null and void.
