Workshop Description
In this workshop, you’ll get hands-on experience using the JFrog Platform. Melissa will walk you through every stage of the development pipeline and you’ll learn best practices while live coding with a support team at the ready if you hit any roadblocks. You will actively be going through every stage of the pipeline and will run through best practices when creating a build for every single commit. This workshop will show you the path to efficiency to ensure stable and predictable results across teams. Our goal is to show you how one platform is the solution to working smarter and not harder.
Workshop System Software and Requirements
1. JFrog Free Cloud Account: "Click Here"
This is free, no credit card is required.* It includes access to Artifactory and Xray, with a limited amount of storage and transfer.
2. Docker
The Docker client should be installed and configured on your machine, before the workshop
3. Ci CD server of your choice or you can activate JFrog Pipelines.* *To activate Pipelines you’ll need to input credit card information - your credit card will not be charged it is just required to unlock this feature.
4. Git + GitHub
A GitHub account is required so that you can fork this repository, and Git must be configured in your terminal so that you can clone it.
5.Code editor
Choose which you are most comfortable using

Developer Advocate
Melissa is currently a Developer Advocate with the JFrog Developer Relations team. She has been active in the software industry over 20 years and her background and experience spans a slew of technologies and tools used in the development and operation of enterprise products and services. Melissa is active in the developer community, has spoken at CodeOne, Java Dev Day Mexico and assists with organizing the JCrete and JAlba Unconferences as well as Devoxx4Kids events.
